CLASSES AND COURSES
MAT GATORS (4-6 YEAR OLDS)
The ages of 4 to 6 are an incredible time for learning. They are eager to form ideas about themselves, others, and the world around them. The Mat Gators program is designed specifically for children at this stage of life. The Mat Gator class meets twice a week. Each class gives students a wonderful foundation for improved listening skills and focus. Our program will give each child a head start in life by instilling a positive self-image and "I Can Do It" attitude. Each class focuses on skills with drills and "mat chats". To the children, the drills seem like play, but they are really teaching them - eye and hand coordination, memory skills, listening and focus.
YOUTH KARATE (7-12 YEAR OLDS)

Our Youth Beginning Karate class (ages 7-12) meets twice a week. Our program offers not only self defense skills, but also character development and discipline. Students get individualized direction and learn to set goals. Partnering with other students in class develops a team work attitude. As a result the youth learn valuable leadership skills, important character traits and self control.
YOUTH BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU (7-12 YEAR OLDS) Alexandria and Eunice locations
Our youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers not only self defense skills, but also character development and discipline. Students get individualized direction and learn to set goals. As a result the youth learn valuable leadership skills, important character traits and self control. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a non striking self defense martial art system based on leverage and control over the opponent. It is considered to be one of the best self defenses for children since it's applied in response to physical aggression, so there's no need to worry about your child becoming violent.
ADULT BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers not only self defense skills, but also character development and discipline. Students get individualized direction and learn to set goals. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a non striking self defense martial art system based on leverage and control over the opponent. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is considered to be one of the best self defenses since it's applied in response to physical aggression.
WOMEN'S BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
SELF DEFENSE - FITNESS
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU PROMOTES THE CONCEPT THAT A PERSON CAN SUCCESSFULLY DEFEND AGAINST A BIGGER, STRONGER ASSAILANT BY USING LEVERAGE AND PROPER TECHNIQUE. IN THE UNITED STATES, EVERY 9 SECONDS A WOMAN IS ASSAULTED. WITH VALUABLE TRAINING IN BJJ, A WOMAN DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A VICTIM. BJJ OFFERS NOT ONLY SELF DEFENSE BUT ALSO AN EXCELLENT FORM OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE.

HEAD INSTRUCTOR
Soke Clint DuPlechian has been training in Karate since 1987. He receives rank under O Soke Dave Shelton through the International Matsumura Seito Society (IMSS). He currently holds a 10th degree black belt in Karate Nintai-Do. Soke Clint has trained throughout his martial arts career in Judo, Iaido, and Kobudo Jutsu.
Clint also trains in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has received first degree black belt rank. He had the privilege of opening the first BJJ school in central Louisiana.
In addition, Clint has a B.A. degree in Health and Physical Education from Louisiana College and is a retired Health and Physical Education teacher. He is also First Aid and CPR certified.
Clint feels that his greatest martial arts accomplishment is that Genesis Martial Arts is a family business. He is assisted by his wife, Shannon, and four children.
BJJ Revolution Team Affiliation
Founded in 2000, BJJ Revolution has since, become a world-wide leader in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The roots of BJJ Revolution date back to the 1970‘s in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil the location of the acclaimed Carlson Gracie Academy. Considered by many as the most successful Jiu-Jitsu academy in the history of the sport, the Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Team was the true juggernaut of competitive BJJ and MMA for nearly 3 decades. This school was the flagship for innovation in Jiu-Jitsu and lead by one of the most important and influential figures in history, Master Carlson Gracie.
Training and discovering the teachings, firsthand, from Master Carlson Gracie, creators of BJJ REVOLUTION TEAM, Master Julio Cesar “Foca” Fernandez Nunes and Master Rodrigo Medeiros, became devoted to continuing the traditions that began in their homeland so many years ago. Arriving in America, it was their vision to start a martial arts revolution by spreading the knowledge, techniques, and integrity of Master Carlson Gracie. After 6-National Titles; 10-US Grappling Titles and thousands of families now practicing, history has proven that their methods were, and continue to be, on target.
