  1. MAT GATORS (4-6 year olds)
    MAT GATORS (4-6 year olds)
    The ages of 4 to 6 are an incredible time for learning. They are eager to form ideas about themselves, others, and the world around them. Karate Kicks' Mat Gators program is designed specifically for children at this stage of life. The Mat Gator class meets twice a week. Each class gives students a wonderful foundation for improved listening skills and focus. Our program will give each child a head start in life by instilling a positive self image and "I Can Do It" attitude. Each class focuses on skills with drills and "mat chats". To the children, the drills seem like play, but they are really teaching them - eye and hand coordination, memory skills, listening and focus.
  2. Youth Karate (7-12 year olds)
    Youth Karate (7-12 year olds)
    Our Youth Beginning Karate class (ages 7-12) meets twice a week. Our program offers not only self defense skills, but also character development and discipline. Students get individualized direction and learn to set goals. Partnering with other students in class develops a team work attitude. As a result the youth learn valuable leadership skills, important character traits and self control. Some benefits are *better grades through improved focus and listening *a boost in confidence and self esteem *improved performance in sports *enhanced fitness and coordination *ability to defend themselves and how to deal effectively with bullies and strangers *improved discipline and self control *positive outlet for energy and anger

    Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
    Our youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers not only self defense skills, but also character development and discipline. Students get individualized direction and learn to set goals. As a result the youth learn valuable leadership skills, important character traits and self control. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a non striking self defense martial art system based on leverage and control over the opponent. It is considered to be one of the best self defenses for children since it's applied in response to physical aggression, so there's no need to worry about your child becoming violent.     Adults in our dynamic Martial arts program will be challenged both physically and mentally. Our style of Karate (Nintai-do The Way of Perseverance) combines elements of non sport karate and judo. Our adults learn the perfect balance of self defense with improved coordination, strength and flexibility. Our adult students find that taking time from their hectic lives to participate in our program leads to stress relief and improved focus and balance. Mastering new skills and achieving goals leads to success in their personal and professional lives. Enjoying their new confidence that comes from knowing they have the ability to protect themselves or their loved ones if the need arises is a top benefit from our adult program.

IN THE UNITED STATES, EVERY 9 SECONDS A WOMAN IS ASSAULTED. WITH VALUABLE TRAINING IN BJJ, A WOMAN DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A VICTIM. BJJ OFFERS NOT ONLY SELF DEFENSE BUT ALSO AN EXCELLENT FORM OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE.
